A few weeks ago I uploaded some photos onto Newschoolers.com that ended up being their "Photo of the Day" for three out of four days — not a bad streak! The first POTD on August 5 was this shot of Mike Briggs from a snow camping trip to Mississippi Head, a huge cliff on the west side of the mountain. We traversed west from Palmer to a snow feature on top of the cliff that I had scoped out a few days earlier, and built a hip jump and a nice little campsite complete with a sheltered fire pit.
