I spent a few days last week in the French resort of Tignes, host of the European Winter X Games.  While enjoying the Games I caught up with Sammy Carlson about his win in the first X Games "Real Ski Backcountry" video competition in an interview for Freeskier. I also wrote an article for Newschoolers.com covering all of the action at Euro X.  

Here's an article I wrote for Freeskier magazine about Red Bull Playstreets, an innovative and hectic slopestyle event with perhaps the world's only "in-city slopestyle" built straight through the hillside resort town of Bad Gastein, Austria.  

I just got back from what turned out to be a weeklong trip to Les Arcs, France for the Red Bull Linecatcher event. With endless steep freeride terrain, perfect powder, and a gaggle of great skiers to ride with, this trip and this competition were incredible experiences! Each fall the city of Zürich, Switzerland hosts a unique festival called Freestyle.ch. I hit the ground for Freeskier to get the scoop on one of Europe's premiere city big air events. Phil Casabon floats a huge rodeo 720 stalefish at the Freestyle.ch big air.
